In most cases a lot of mobile scanners can be repaired depending on the issue that is uncovered during the diagnostic process. Common issues like cracked screens, faulty scan engines, damaged buttons, or battery problems can usually be fixed.
There could be several reasons why your mobile barcode scanner isn’t working:
A quick check of the battery, lens cleanliness, and a software restart often solves simple issues.
In some cases you can troubleshoot your own barcode scanner, however if you run into issues we’d be more than happy to book a repair to diagnose common issues.
The average lifespan of a mobile scanner is typically between 3 to 5 years, depending on how heavily it’s used and how well it’s maintained. Rugged or industrial-grade scanners may last longer with proper care.
