The flexibility of individual repairs and the convenience of annual maintenance cover
EMS Technologies, today part of the multinational tech giant Honeywell, has been responsible for a long series of LXE-branded rugged mobile computers. With these devices, companies can ensure that mobile workers stay part of the firms' corporate networks, allowing for smoother communications. We can deliver LXE repair services if your company routinely uses LXE devices that, unfortunately, have become faulty and, therefore, you want repairing quickly.
The number of different LXE computers that have been manufactured is significant. These devices include the MX line, among the models of which are the MX3. The MX3's Intel XScale processor helps it to run Windows CE .NET or Windows CE 5.0 Professional. Another model in the line is the MX9, which is encased in a rugged body designed to help the device withstand harsh environments where workers might need to reliably collect data despite the elements.
Another LXE-branded product range is that under the VX name. The computers taking this name include the VX3X, which has a small size - measuring a mere 6 by 9 inches - but remains resilient due to the polycarbonate/ABS plastic body. The display is a significant 6.5 inches on the diagonal and can show the interface of Windows CE .NET 4.2 or Windows 5.0 Professional. The VX9 model, on the other hand, has a 12.1-inch display in a slim body and runs Windows XP.
There is also the FX1; otherwise known as the Honeywell Marathon, it can run a full version of Windows 7 or Windows XP while still weighing under a kilogram and featuring a complete QWERTY keyboard and fingerprint reader. Your company might, alternatively, have the LXE HX2; this is a wearable computer that can be used through voice commands. It can be particularly useful for warehouse picking applications.
The range of LXE devices that we can repair is broad. It includes not only those mentioned above but also the variants the MX5, MX6, MX7, MX8, VX4, VX5, VX6, VX7 and VX8. However, this list covers only the most popular LXE devices which we are capable of repairing. If you have a faulty LXE device not mentioned so far on this page, it might remain possible for us to help; contact us for confirmation.
Once you have sent a damaged LXE device to our repair facility and we have received it, we will keep track of the device during the whole repair process; our Repair Management System makes such tracking possible. Should you approve of the repair quotation that we email you, we will not only repair the device but also fully test and clean it before giving it an independent quality inspection.
Following that inspection, the computer will be securely placed in new packaging before we dispatch it through a fully insured service. Our site has further details about the repair services. If you don't have an account with us, you can use a debit or credit card to pay for our LXE repair services.
